What safety mistakes is OSHA issuing fines for most often?
OSHA announced the preliminary most frequently cited workplace safety violations for fiscal year 2018 (Oct. 1, 2017 to Sept. 30, 2018) at the National Safety Council’s 2018 Congress & Expo in Houston.
This year’s list contains a new entrant that wasn’t on 2017’s list, “Eye and Face Protection,” which came in 10th.
“Knowing how workers are hurt can go a long way toward keeping them safe,” said NSC CEO Deborah Hersman. “The OSHA Top 10 list calls out areas that require increased vigilance to ensure everyone goes home safely each day.”
