New Basic First Aid Release from American Safety & Health Institute The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) introduces an enhanced, content-rich November 10, 2008 – EUGENE, OR – American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), a member of Health & Safety Institute (HSI) family of brands, announces the launch of new and improved Basic First Aid for the Community and Workplace training materials. This release incorporates both Instructor and Student resources. In direct response to requests by first aid instructors, the ASHI Basic First Aid Instructor Package features an enhanced DVD (77 minutes) that covers over 50 emergency care topics. The new video footage has been shot in hi-definition making HSI an industry-leader in utilizing this technology. This release also includes a revised Instructor Guide with a new instructor-friendly layout as well as a modified PowerPoint® presentation that corresponds directly to the new student materials. The new Student Handbook offers larger, graphic-rich pictures in an easier-to-comprehend format.
