Drench Showers and Eye Washes
With the most extensive array of options in the industry, the safety professional or engineer can create, design and select the exact type of drenching system required for the hazard present.
All of Acorn’s standard products utilize Hi-Visibility yellow powder coating and yellow ABS plastics. This increases the ability to locate the equipment in time of need as well as provides additional corrosion protection.
- All eyewash and eye/face wash models and assemblies have an integral strainer for increased protection against harmful particulates in the water supply.
- Flip-top dust covers are standard on all eyewash and eye/face wash heads.
- The Acorn “wall of water” showerhead is one of the most effective showerheads in the industry. Its ability to provide complete drenching within the ANSI proscribed spray pattern is second to none. All products are certified to ANSI Z358.1-2004.
- Where ever possible, stainless steel components are used to increase durability and corrosion/bacterial protection. Typically these components are wall brackets, eye and eye/face wash push levers, foot treadles, shower pull rods and some ball valve stems.
