Maureen Gorman has more than 10 years of business writing experience ­- primarily about workplace safety issues. In the late 1990s, she worked as Editor–in-Chief of the Safety Compliance Alert newsletter. Maureen then switched gears and spent several years writing about investments for The Vanguard Group. After a brief period staying at home full-time with her two young boys (and getting a new perspective on recognizing hazards) Maureen has returned to writing about workplace safety.
