OSHA encourages retailers to provide crowd control on Black Friday

In 2008, an employee was trampled to death while shoppers rushed through the doors of a Wal-Mart for Black Friday sales. OSHA wants to prevent a repeat of that fatality.
The agency has posted recommendations for retailers on its website on how to deal with large crowds.

I think a lot of retailers learned a lesson from that 2008 incident. From what I saw, crowds were much more controlled and orderly. If OSHA served as a positive influence in this, then they have fulfilled their mission for once.

Somewhat disagree, the hazard still persists. I Feel that everyone knows there is an issue with crowd control, heck Wal Mart and OSHA are still in court about the last fatality, and OSHA still has not produced regulatory requirements for this known hazard.
