Would you bare all for the sake of safety?

Think you’ve tried everything to get and keep employees’ attention during regular safety meetings? You probably haven’t tried this.
Air New Zealand is using a new tactic to make sure passengers keep their eyes on video screens for its in-flight safety instructions.
The carrier’s safety video for domestic service on its Boeing 737 planes show pilot and cabin crew dressed only in body paint.
To make sure the video wouldn’t get a X rating, the camera angles are carefully chosen and the crew holds up strategically-placed items such as life vests.
You can view the safety video online here.

Where do I find the body paint?

Believe me, my guys would not want me to bare it all to keep their attention. if any7thing, I would loose it as they were running out of the building I would have more claims for eye injuries than I could handle. I am one of those people that think they know as much as the flight.

Here in the US someone would get offended and file a lawsuit claiming indecency or sexual harassment, body paint or no. We have a country of whinning babys who want to control everyone else andline their pockest andget famous at the same time. Famous in this case means get your name inthe paper and possibly mentioned on TV.

Doesn’t that airline realize that passengers would be so distracted by the naked people that they wouldn’t be paying much attention to what is said?
Also, there are very few pilots I would want to see naked, even with body paint.

I could use reverse psychology/fear - pay attention, or else out comes the body paint…

I think it’s inventive. Granted, I won’t be doing it in my meetings….but i may threaten to if I see some eyes start to close.

The videos are on “YouTube”, including the “Bloopers and out takes” reel. But you’ll be disappointed, .. if you’re looking for naked people. They look fully dressed, and are shown mostly from the waist up behind a seat or holding a life-vest, .. and when I looked really close, .. I had to say, .. complements to the artist, .. that’s some really good work. I think the 45 second commercial is the best.

I think that is great fun. People take themselves too serious lately. Lord knows it would be nice to have a fresh look on the same old speech we all hear every time we travel!

Actually, it was done in much better taste than I expected. The last shot could have been left in focus as a payoff! (I’ve seen worse in television ads). It’s fun.
