OSHA sends another warning about Black Friday crowds

The title of the press release says, “OSHA encourages major retailers to provide crowd management measures.” A better word instead of “encourages” would have been “warns.”

Employee trampling death: Judge rules against Wal-Mart

OSHA encourages retailers to provide crowd control on Black Friday

In 2008, an employee was trampled to death while shoppers rushed through the doors of a Wal-Mart for Black Friday sales. OSHA wants to prevent a repeat of that fatality.
